5:13 None of the rest dared to join them, ¹  but the people held them in high honor. ²

19:17 This became known to all who lived in Ephesus, ³  both Jews and Greeks; fear came over ⁴  them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was praised. ⁵ 

[5:13]  ¹ tn Or “to associate with them.” The group was beginning to have a controversial separate identity. People were cautious about joining them. The next verse suggests that the phrase “none of the rest” in this verse is rhetorical hyperbole.
